The problem with rinse aid is that it’s not natural. Now of course rinse aid manufacturers do not disclose their ingredients but if a product needs to have warning labels on the bottle, you know it can’t be all that natural. On top of that, rinse aids are rather pricey for a tiny little bottle!
The good news is that there is a natural rinse aid that you already have in your pantry! It’s natural and it’s cheap! What is it? Vinegar of course.
Natural Rinse Aid
White distilled vinegar
Simply pour the vinegar in your rinse aid compartment and you are good to go.
Don’t have a rinse aid compartment? Then just fill up a small cup with a few tablespoons of vinegar and place it in you top rack. You will need to do this each time you run your dishwasher so it is a bit more annoying than having a rinse aid compartment but you will get sparkling dishes at least!
